Welcome to Born to Move!

I am a pediatric physical therapist with a focus on early intervention and a passion for helping children—and their families—thrive. I work with infants and toddlers during their most important developmental years and believe therapy should be playful, engaging, and naturally woven into everyday life. As a parent, I’ve experienced the emotional and logistical challenges of navigating physical therapy for my own child, all while recovering from postpartum needs myself. That experience deepened my commitment to making therapy more accessible, supportive, and family-centered. My goal is to ease the burden of traveling to and from clinics by bringing physical therapy to you—whether in your home, at a park, or on a neighborhood walk. I love integrating therapy into real-life moments, like practicing balance along a curb, turning a short hike into a developmental opportunity, or using the playground to work on motor skills while siblings enjoy playtime too. I also provide support for parents, grandparents, and caregivers—because when the whole family feels cared for, everyone benefits. Outside of my work, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my toddler and our fun-loving 7-year-old boxer, learning to knit, cheering on my younger sibling at his baseball games, or diving into something new to learn. I’m here to support your child’s growth while making life a little easier—and more joyful—for your whole family.

Why I Do This Work

I enjoy working with children — it’s fun, it’s rewarding, and every milestone reached is a reminder of the incredible potential within every child. But it wasn’t until I became a mother myself that I saw just how hard it can be to get support, even when you know something isn't quite right. Despite being a pediatric physical therapist, I struggled to be heard when I brought up concerns about my own baby. My pediatrician dismissed what I was seeing, and I was never referred for care. If I hadn’t had the training to recognize and treat her torticollis myself, her story — and her development — could have looked very different. That experience changed everything for me. Now, I help families feel seen, heard, and empowered — from day one. Every parent deserves to understand how their child is developing and what signs to look for. Early support doesn’t just improve motor skills — it can make a lasting difference emotionally, financially, and in a child’s overall well-being. Wellness is about prevention. It’s about catching things early — like torticollis, head shape changes, or feeding difficulties — before they become bigger challenges. It’s about showing parents that therapy doesn’t always mean weekly sessions for months on end. Sometimes, the right knowledge and hands-on tools can be life-changing. You don’t need to wait for a referral. You don’t need to feel unsure or dismissed. You deserve answers, options, and a path forward that works for your family.
